Happy New Year's Eve! It's the last day in 2014. It's been a great year but I'm looking forward to the possibilities and the wonders of the new year.  Today is a gift. Let's ring in the new year with a bang and enjoy every minute of it!

Get Ready For 2015!

Dear Friends:

Have you started working on your New Year's Resolutions for 2015?

If you haven't, now is a good time to reflect on all you've accomplished in 2014 and what you'd like to achieve in 2015.

I believe in New Year's Resolutions because it gives you a focus on what you'd like to accomplish. It's important to write them down, review them often (monthly or quarterly are good benchmarks to set), share them with a trusted friend to help with accountability and reward yourself for your accomplishments.

I think one of the reasons many people fail at New Year's Resolutions because they don't revisit their goals throughout the year after they've been set at the beginning of the year.  You can't miss this step.  It's one of the most important steps to accomplishing your goals.  It helps keep you motivated to stay the course on your goals. This step can make the difference between success and failure.

If you stick to these rules, you'll be amazed at how much you can accomplish!

I wish you all the best.  I know that 2015 will be your breakthrough year!!  I wish you much success in the new year.

This holiday, many special children will enjoy their holiday thanks to our efforts through the Toys for Tots organization. Thank you so much to all who attended the concerted, donated toys and helped with my sixth annual toy drive at Silvana in Harlem on Tuesday, December 16th. It was a huge success thanks to you! It was well worth the effort knowing the children will enjoy the magic of Christmas this season.

I am so grateful for your support of my musical endeavors through the years. I really appreciate your interests, words of encouragement, support (by purchasing my music and attending my shows) and your well wishes.

Holiday Magic: Santa's Helper, Benita Charles delivers toys to spread holiday cheer for the children!

Dear Friends:

Thank you so much for supporting my holiday show and toy drive at Silvana in Harlem on December 16th to benefit the Marine Corps Toys For Tots charity! In addition to receiving toys the day of the show, I received toys after the show as well making this one of my most successful toy drives ever!!

It's that time again: The holiday time also means its time for my 6th annual holiday show and toy drive to benefit the Marine Corps Toys for Tots organization!

This show is near and dear to my heart and is my all-time favorite show to produce as we collect toys that will help spread holiday cheer to children in need. Thanks for coming to the Shrine last night!

A night to remember - Dec 6th: A special thanks to all who attended the show at the Shrine in Harlem last night! I was so honored to open for Preachermann's Birthday Concert. It was an incredible night of great music and entertainment. The audience was phenomenal during my set at in Preachermann's set! They were with us all the way.

It was so wonderful to see Mr. & Mrs. Holley, Dawnmarie Ely and Dwight, Nia Simmons, Arlene McMann Paldino, Nicole Barr Williams, Latimer Williams, Peter Archer, Kendall Buchanan, Ryan and Char! Thanks to all the friends who came from out of state to see our shows! Thanks for your support!!
