Here's my press release announcing my show:

January 29, 2012,(New York, NY): NY-based vocalist, Benita Charles celebrates love in her one-woman show, "Moments In Love!" on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 9:00 pm at Bar Thalia - Symphony Space on the upper west side of New York City.

Ms. Charles will sing selections from her debut CD, "Moments In Love: Volume 1" as well as other favorites as she explores the various emotions of love. The show will feature her band, The Benita Charles & Friends Band. Singer, Christi Gehrisch will be the featured opening act.

Bring your valentine and join us for an evening of love, music, and great entertainment. If you don't have a valentine, come to the show. Who knows? You just might find your special valentine!

Remembering Etta James

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of soul singer, Etta James. She was a living legend and an inspiration to me and so many singers. Her music has touched so many lives and will continue to.

No more suffering, Ms. James. Rest now. May you rest in peace!
