WHAT:  Harlem Celebrates the late icon Prince with a special outdoor dance party.
                “We R Gathered Here 2day 2 Wish Prince Heaven”
WHEN:  Monday, April 25,  2016  5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
WHERE: Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building - 163 West 125th Street

WHY:  After the untimely and unfortunate passing of the musical icon who touched so many lives, on Monday, April 25th,  Emmis Communications (WBLS-FM, Hot 97FM and WLIB-AM),  Harlem  Summer Stage, the Harlem Music Festival, HARLEM WEEK, Harlem Arts Alliance and others are joining forces to present a public celebration of the life of Prince Rogers Nelson at The Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building Plaza at 163 W. 125th St.
From 5:30 PM until 8PM, Everyone is invited to join WBLS DJs, on-air personalities including Imhotep Gary Byrd, Elected officials and others to celebrate the life of Prince and his immense       contributions to the world through his music. A Jumbotron will feature Prince highlights, Harlem leaders will reflect upon Prince's legacy, and people from the community and throughout New York City will reminisce, sing, and dance.
