95 cards!

 Dear Friends:

Happy Friday!  Wishing you a wonderful weekend. I hope all is well!

I have a special request of you this is not music related but it's important to me and my family.

On June 13, 2013, my grandfather, John “Pops” Gooden will be 95 years old.  Our family would like to make this a special birthday for him.  We are asking all of our family and friends to send him a birthday card or send an e-card to his email address. (Please put you are my friend on your message.  It helps the family know who the cards are coming from.) We will print out all e-cards and other electronic birthday wishes for him.  Our goal is for him to receive 95 cards on his birthday!

One notable thing about my grandfather: he's such a giving soul.  For years, he would give gifts to many of his neighbors just because he has such a giving heart.  I always admire that quality he has.  It would be nice to give him something he will enjoy this year!

 THE TIME HAS COME ONCE AGAIN!  Thursday, June 13, 2013, is the 95th birthday of John “Pops” Gooden.

 For his birthday we would like for him to receive at least 95 birthday cards/wishes, one for each year of his life.  In order to accomplish this goal we need your help. You can help by sending him a birthday card between now and his birthday, June 13.  It doesn't matter that you don't know him, In fact, that is what he enjoys most, receiving birthday wishes from people he hasn’t even met.
